Trees of Mistletoe
This mistletoe is the most I have ever seen and sits in a gem of a place. Any ideas where you can see this much mistletoe in one place?
All mistletoe are hemi-parasite plants, bearing evergreen leaves that do some photosynthesis, and using the host mainly for water and mineral nutrients. Once the mistletoe establishes a permanent connect to the host, it pretty much stops any photosynthesis and just leeches off the host plant.
Too much mistletoe can kill a tree. Are these in danger? On another topic, any snow planned for this week?

BTW, I’m giving two to one odds that Supervisor Caddigan doesn’t apologize for her “despicable” comments, any takers.

On the other hand, no one has apologized to her for dispicable remarks made about her. Give a little get a little.
Let’s put it this way MoM, I can’t see you sitting and suffering in silence as long as she did. I think you would have mouth flashed at SOMEone.
Am I wrong? I can promise you Mistress Moon would have. She might have even dropped F-bombs, knowing her. (it doesn’t take much and that is just a priviledge vintage women have.)
The GA report says its revenue neutral but every other study shows that the fees collected for the new regs. will not cover the costs which is why towns have largely been excepted from the statutes and can pass the burden onto the county. And no Wally, you don’t have a choice, when the Clown Show in Richmond says bend over you simply ask how far.
A quick solution to the County’s leaky dam problem would be for Marty to adopt a little dutch boy.

The difference between myself and Caddigan is that I don’t lie, I will tell you the uncomfortable truth (or at least my version of it) right to your face, thus the tit for tat would never have gotten to this level. Moreover, she lost her composure and made it personal, I can’t say that I’ve ever descended to that level (some would disagree) and suspect that my mastery of biting sarcasm and extreme cynicism wouldn’t come off in the same petty and vindictive manner that her comments did. Long and short of it, she got caught, lost control and made the situation worse. That happens when you’re not used to taking public criticism and have a very thin skin.
I think she misspoke. I don’t think she intended to lie.
