Our Beginnings

Our roots are with ANTIbvbl.net. That is where we came from. Here is our history:

History

AntiBVBL.net was formed late February 2008, as a counter blog to bvbl.net(Black Velvet Bruce Li), which is run by the current President of both Help Save Manassas and Save the Old Dominion organizations. We are a group of Prince William & Manassas citizens who attempted to participate in the discussion but who were repeatedly denied the opportunity to participate.

We categorically reject the tactics used by Greg Letiecq and his organizations in attempting to influence local, state or national immigration related policies.

On April 4, 2008, our blogsite receives an exciting endorsement from RaisingKaine.com entitled, ‘ Having a Popular Blog in 5 Easy Steps — FAST! ‘ http://www.raisingkaine.com/showDiary.do?diaryId=13675

Current History

On Friday, February 26, 2010, around noon, www.moonhowlings.net was born and here we are.  We kept the archives from antibvbl.net and dragged them on over here.  So we continue, yet we begin anew.  Our focus will be on local, state, and national topics that have people talking.

We are both centrists.  Occassionally we lean left, occassionally we lean right.  Sometimes we don’t lean the same direction.  That’s when things get interesting.

Just finished watching 9500 Liberty. The timing was superb as we in Arizona await Wednesday’s arguments for and against the heinous SB1070. I live in the ultraconservative legislative district that recently made history by recalling AZ Senate President Russell Pearce, who is more closely identified with SB1070 than with anything else he has done. I want you to know that your actions and your voices on behalf of sanity, compassion, and human decency make me very proud and give me hope that the tide is turning away from hate.
