Sorry folks, I couldn’t resist.  A good friend, originally from Miami sent me this.  No one hates snow more than Tyn.  If this weather map is to be believed, we are under the ‘totally screwed’ bubble.

UPDATE:  THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A BLIZZARD WARNING FOR THE PRINCE WILLIAM AREA .  12/19/2000 9:30 AM

The weather forecasts are all predicting 20-25+ inches of snow is headed our way, right up the state.  Charlottesville is supposed to be ‘ground zero’ whatever that means.  That might be CNN-speak for ‘gets the most snow.’

We can use this thread as this week’s open thread (as promised) and also to discuss the impending snow storm which I now hear might just become a blizzard.  Our last big blizzard was in 1996.  Stay warm and let your fingers do the talking.

Western Prince William and Manassas are all aflutter preparing for the big Obama Rally tonight at 9 PM. My roving reporter has called in that there are already about 50 men, women and children lined up at the lower Fairgrounds entrance. Gates open at 5 PM.

I will post news and pictures as they trickle in. Meanwhile, here is an open thread for tonight’s events.

Has anyone heard who the entertainment will be?

Update: The following video is added from last night. Governor Tim Kaine and Former Governor Mark Warner introduced the real entertainment, Obama!
